Tuesday night!

Tickets are all sold out, so if you didn't get yours, stay at home and cry all your make-up off.

Anyone interested can meet at Lucky 13, down the block, after 6:30 for drinks.

Doors at 7, show at 7:30, and I don't think there's an opening band.

I was glad it was such an early show (I don't like having to sit through 4 opening bands and have the headliner go on at midnight), but now I'm frazzled because I actually have a job. It might be one of those run-out-of-the-house, do-my-face-in-the-cab, paint-my-nails-at-the-bar kind of night.

But who cares -- it's the Tiger Lillies!!

The earthquake was a nice touch.

I was the ONLY one in the crowd that didn't feel it. Everyone else was murmuring and looking around, and I'm like, "What?"

Nah you weren't the only one blissfully unaware. My buddy sitting right next to me in the second row didn't feel it either. He had no idea, until everyone began to talk at intermission, that anything untoward had happened.

What did y'all think of the venue? I'd never been to the Swedish Hall before.

I thought it was a pretty room, with the timbered ceiling and the jewel-box stage. The sound was fine. But... no booze? No BOOZE? That just seemed wrong.

I like Bimbo's the best. Totally swanky and gorgeous, plus table service.

Bring back Bimbo's! Those wooden folding chairs at the Swedish hall were brutal. And while the Tiger Lillies are brilliant, liquor elevates the joy.

And it was perfect that they ended the 'quake show with "Crack of Doom." Priceless.

i really wanted a drink. i hope they play bimbos again... or even GAMH - i think they could play that with the table out -- be much nicer.
